THE COMPANY

Green Extreme Outdoors Ltd was founded in 1998 in Scotland. Starting out as a mail order company, specialising in cross country ski and adventure race equipment, we formed our first online store in November 1998. In February 1999 we presented the first ever winter adventure race 'The Scottish Winter Challenge' held under arduous winter conditions.

In 1999 we raced in the Discovery Channel Eco-Challenge adventure race in Argentina. During seven days of non-stop racing we first used Buff headwear and instantly fell in love with them. Having moved to Canada that year we were looking for an unique opportunity and Buff presented itself to us. We became the exclusive Canadian distributors in May 2000.

Today we distribute to over 200 stores and many organisations requiring custom projects.
